We’re buttoning up ISP Triage for a release, and it will be a silent release when it ships.
We’re still here. We’re currently in release-candidate mode. We’ve still got some items to address, and there are a few features we’d like to add—but as usual we’ll be shipping those out as time allows.
Personal note
I’d also really appreciate some prayers and positive vibes for what’s coming next. I can’t share details just yet.
This is a season that can create challenges, and I’m staying mindful of what it takes to manage the time spent on the site, with some buffer built in so I can relax.
We appreciate no judgement. Thank you for being patient with us, and for keeping good energy coming our way.

Closing Some Holes — Not Quite Ready, But the Core Is There
March 15th, 2025
We’re closing some holes on some releasable items, but we’re not quite ready yet. We feel the core of the app is there and ready for the run-up to our beta release.
We need you—and boy do we. We need those daring individuals who have a few users they can put on our system. We’re taking freebie signups for now, and we’re likely going to move away from the $500/mo requirement to capture those small operators looking to get started with the features they need to run their operation, should they choose.
If you have any questions, let us know.

Try ISP Triage for Yourself
February 15th, 2026
We’re open to full-fledged showings if you’d like to get a look at the app—just reach out.
Whether you’re evaluating the platform or just curious, we’re happy to walk you through it so you can get a feel for how it works—how homey and straightforward we’ve tried to make it, and how easy it is to use day to day. This is still before our final release; we’re working out a few kinks and polishing things up. We also have to address user access and additions of billing department–related tasks. Even so, we wanted to give you visibility now so that anyone considering ISP Triage can see it in action and decide if it’s a fit.
Integrations
We have close integrations with well-known open source systems such as PowerDNS and FreeRADIUS, as well as systems like FSPBX and Thirdlane. FSPBX and Thirdlane are partial integrations for now—we’re waiting for API hooks to be installed on those sides before we can complete the tie-ins.
Infrastructure
Our production system is a highly available setup based on HAProxy and a failover database.
If you have any questions, use the chat to the right below, or head to our contact us page.

Breadcrumbs, FSPBX, Company vs. Client Billing & Navigation Updates
February 13th, 2026
Tonight we put in about five hours across a few different parts of the platform. Here’s what went out.
Breadcrumbs (clickable navigation)
The breadcrumb system is now linkable site-wide. From any nested page you can jump back up the hierarchy—for example to the top of admin—so it’s easier to see where you are and get back without hunting.
FSPBX in the platform
FSPBX is now in the system with the available APIs hooked up. You’ll find it under Company → Services → SIP (more on that below). The section has a placeholder for now while we keep building out the integration.
Navigation: Company, Services, and SIP
Under Company → Services we’ve introduced a SIP submenu. Thirdlane Phone System lives under SIP now, and we’ve added FSPBX there too (same placeholder as above). Under Services you now have DNS, Email, RADIUS, and SIP—with FSPBX and Thirdlane under SIP.
Billing management
Billing has new actions: you can mass mark items as active, inactive, suspended, or written off, and you can write off a single account. In the clients view you’ll see the full set of options, as in the screenshot below.

We've worked to make the billing management more intuitive and user-friendly. This is a big step forward for the platform and we're excited for you to see it in action. As always, get in touch with any questions or feedback.

RADIUS & Client Integrations, GIS Improvements, Billing Review & Poll
February 12th, 2026
Here’s a quick update on what the team has been focused on this week.
Theodore’s Progress
Theodore has made additional progress with the RADIUS section, adding functionality and building integrations in the client area to tie user accounts to the physical account. He’s also working on breadcrumbs in the admin—linking back to the top level and parent sections—to improve usability and make it easier to navigate the platform.
GIS Work
We’ve been focused on GIS improvements, including testing importing, making layers more visible, and related enhancements to make the mapping and geographic tools more reliable and easier to use.
We’d Love Your Input
Please take a moment to share your feedback in our short poll below:
Billing: Final Review
The final review focus is billing—making sure it’s functioning at scale as intended. Theodore will be leading that effort and we’re expecting to surface fixes and improvements as we go.
We’ve already used appropriate tools to scan the codebase for bugs, and that process will likely reveal more as we continue. We’re committed to addressing what we find and making the platform more stable and reliable.
As always, please contact us with questions, feedback, or if you’d like to discuss your needs.

Team Spotlight, Infrastructure Improvements & Voice AI Development
January 22nd, 2026
We're excited to share several updates on our development progress, team growth, and infrastructure improvements that are shaping the future of ISP Triage.
Celebrating Our Contributors
ISP Triage is proud to be powered by a dedicated team of contributors who bring their expertise and passion to the platform every day. We're thrilled to highlight our three core contributors who have been instrumental in building and refining ISP Triage:
Recent progress
We’ve hit several meaningful milestones and shipped improvements across the platform, infrastructure, and integrations.
Load Balanced Infrastructure Enhancements
We've been hard at work improving the overall functionality of our load-balanced setup. This infrastructure upgrade has enabled us to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability. The new architecture allows for better distribution of workloads, improved fault tolerance, and more efficient resource utilization across our platform.
As shown in the architecture diagram above, our load-balanced setup includes HAProxy for intelligent traffic distribution, MySQL master-slave replication for high availability, and multiple VPS nodes working in harmony to deliver consistent performance. These improvements are already making a noticeable difference in system responsiveness and stability.
Voice AI Chatbot Development
We've been making significant progress on integrating AI functionality into ISP Triage, with a particular focus on developing a Voice AI Chatbot that will revolutionize how ISPs interact with the platform. This innovative feature is designed to assist with several critical functions:
• Ticket Creation
The Voice AI Chatbot will enable users to create support tickets through natural voice interactions, making it faster and more intuitive to log issues and requests.
• Support Assistance
Get instant answers to common questions, troubleshooting guidance, and platform navigation help through conversational voice interactions.
• Network Metrics & Performance Monitoring
One of the most powerful capabilities will be the ability to query network metrics and performance data through voice commands. This allows network administrators to quickly check system health, review performance indicators, and ensure optimal network operation without navigating through multiple screens.
Voice AI Availability
While the core functionality for the Voice AI Chatbot is in place, we're still refining the implementation to ensure it meets our high standards for accuracy, reliability, and user experience. We're currently in a phase where we're working through the nuances to get everything just right.
As a result, we don't anticipate making the Voice AI functionality generally available until we see sufficient service adoption and receive specific requests from our user community. This approach allows us to ensure the feature is polished and truly meets the needs of ISPs before a broader release. If you're interested in early access to Voice AI capabilities or have specific use cases in mind, please reach out to us—we'd love to hear your thoughts and requirements.

Merry Christmas & Year-End Development Update
December 14th, 2025
First and foremost, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
As we approach the end of 2025, we're grateful for the continued support from our ISP community and
excited about the progress we've made this year.
While we haven't seen a lot of new app additions in recent weeks, we're on the cusp of releasing some significant changes that we believe will substantially improve the platform's functionality and user experience. These updates represent substantial behind-the-scenes work that will set the foundation for future enhancements.
New Standalone RADIUS Service
We're excited to announce that we've developed a standalone RADIUS service as an additional offering alongside ISP Triage. This doesn't mean we've removed RADIUS functionality from ISP Triage—far from it! ISP Triage continues to include full, feature-rich RADIUS capabilities as part of its comprehensive platform. The standalone RADIUS service is a new, dedicated solution for ISPs who need a focused RADIUS-only tool. Both offerings are featureful and ready to tackle your authentication and network management needs. Whether you need the integrated RADIUS features within ISP Triage's full management suite or prefer a specialized standalone RADIUS solution, we have you covered.
Upcoming Testing Phase
In the coming days, we'll be entering a comprehensive testing phase for the overall application functionality. This testing is necessary due to several major infrastructure changes we've implemented:
• API and Role-Based Data Scoping
We've implemented a new API architecture with role-based data scoping, which provides enhanced security and more granular access control. This change ensures that users only see and can interact with data appropriate to their role, improving both security and user experience. However, implementing such a fundamental change requires thorough testing across all application functions to ensure everything works correctly with the new access control system.
Team Updates
On a personal note, we've been navigating some challenges on the team front. One of our programmers has been working on cards for christmas, and I've also been dealing with a family health situation—my mother was diagnosed with pneumonia and required care and attention. These personal and professional challenges have naturally impacted our development timeline, but we're committed to maintaining progress despite these obstacles.
Progress Continues
Despite these challenges, development work continues steadily. The framework upgrade, API improvements, and technical debt resolution are all moving forward. We're committed to delivering a robust, reliable platform, and these foundational improvements will pay dividends in the coming months as we build new features on this solid base.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these important updates. The testing phase will help us ensure everything is working smoothly before we roll out these changes to production. We're excited about what these improvements will enable and look forward to sharing more details as we complete the testing and refinement process.
Thank you for being part of the ISP Triage community, and we hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Upcoming Features: SIP Integration & Web-Managed DHCP Service
December 7th, 2025
We're excited to announce plans for two additional features: SIP integration services and a
web-managed DHCP service. These enhancements will further expand ISP Triage's capabilities,
providing comprehensive solutions for voice services and network address management.
SIP Integration Services
While we initially hoped to have the SIP integrations finalized by the 1st Quarter, we're now targeting the 3rd Quarter for a fully optimized SIP management suite. Our integration will support both FS PBX (FusionPBX Fork) and Thirdlane—two diverse and powerful systems for SIP termination and PBX management. The integration will provide dual management capabilities: users can sign in and manage services through the native portals, or utilize our unified UI for streamlined administration. This flexibility allows teams to work with the interface they prefer, whether they're learning the systems or demonstrating functionality to administrators.
Web-Managed DHCP Service
Another feature we're planning to release is a web-managed DHCP service, potentially in Q4 2026. This will create a complete hosted solution for DHCP management with an intuitive, easy-to-use UI, enabling ISPs to manage their network addressing through a centralized platform.
RADIUS Attribute Management Enhancements
We're continuing to enhance our RADIUS system to better support our clients' requirements. Our RADIUS Attribute Bundles feature provides template-based management that is highly customizable and perfect for handling repetitive configuration needs. ISPs can create, manage, and reuse attribute bundles for different service types—such as PPPoE configurations, static IP assignments, and wireless authentication—streamlining the setup process and ensuring consistency across customer deployments. This template system eliminates the need to manually configure attributes for each customer, making it ideal for ISPs managing large numbers of subscribers with similar service requirements.

RADIUS Update: Expanded Authentication Support
December 6th, 2025
Theodore Baschak has been hard at work, narrowing down functionality of the RADIUS features. Thus
far we support PPPoE, wired MAC auth, and wireless MAC auth through Mikrotik. We are working on
finalizing other vendors in the setup.
The RADIUS integration continues to evolve, providing ISPs with robust authentication and session management capabilities. Our active session monitoring allows you to track user connections in real-time, view session details, and manage network access efficiently. The system is handling multiple authentication methods seamlessly, giving ISPs the flexibility they need to manage diverse network environments.
As shown in the screenshot above, the Active RADIUS Sessions interface provides comprehensive
visibility into all active network sessions, including username, NAS IP, session duration, and
assigned IP addresses. This real-time monitoring capability is essential for ISPs managing their
network infrastructure and ensuring optimal service delivery.
Certainly thankful for his contributions!

While PPPoE is complete, our implementation for MAC-AUTH (MAC address authentication) is in the final stages of development for Mikrotik devices. We're actively working on this feature and making steady progress. MAC-AUTH will provide additional authentication options for ISPs managing devices that authenticate via MAC addresses rather than traditional username/password methods. Support for other vendors is also being developed.
Flexible Attribute Assignment Methods
Our RADIUS system provides three powerful methods for assigning attributes, giving ISPs the flexibility they need to manage their network authentication efficiently:
• User-Level Attributes
Assign attributes directly to individual users, providing granular control over each customer's authentication and authorization settings. This method is ideal for custom configurations and specific customer requirements.
• Group-Based Attributes
Organize users into groups and assign attributes at the group level. This approach streamlines management for customers with similar service plans or configurations, allowing you to make changes that apply to entire groups of users at once.
Finalizing Group Features
While the core RADIUS functionality is complete and operational, we're currently buttoning up a few aspects of the grouping and template features. These refinements will ensure that group management and template application work seamlessly across all use cases, providing a polished experience for ISPs managing their RADIUS configurations.
Team Recognition: Theodore's Initiative
We want to give special recognition to Theodore, who took the initiative and brought this RADIUS integration across the finish line. His dedication and technical expertise were instrumental in completing this complex piece of the platform. Theodore's work has been exceptional, and we're grateful for his contributions to making this feature production-ready.
Production Deployment Scheduled
We will be moving the RADIUS configuration to our production environment this evening at around 23:00 hours. This deployment will make the PPPoE authentication capabilities available to all production users, marking another significant step forward in our platform's evolution.
The screenshot above shows the RADIUS Usage Statistics dashboard, which provides comprehensive
insights into data usage, session information, and user activity. This powerful monitoring tool
helps ISPs track network utilization, monitor active sessions, and analyze usage patterns over
time.

Once complete, ISPs will be able to streamline their accounting workflows by having customer billing information automatically sync with their QuickBooks accounts, reducing manual data entry and minimizing errors.
Comprehensive Audit Logging Trail
In conjunction with the QuickBooks integration, we've implemented a comprehensive audit logging trail for changes made to customer accounts. This feature provides complete transparency and accountability by tracking every modification, including who made the change, when it was made, what was changed, and from which IP address. This is essential for maintaining data integrity, compliance, and troubleshooting customer account issues.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the change history provides detailed information about each
modification, including updates to QuickBooks customer IDs, EIN/VAT numbers, default payment
methods, and other account attributes. Each entry shows the date and time, the action taken, who
made the change, the specific field that was modified, and the IP address from which the change
originated. This level of detail ensures that ISPs have complete visibility into all account
modifications for both operational and compliance purposes.
AI Assistant Enhancements
We've also continued to make improvements to our AI Assistant feature. The AI Assistant has been enhanced with better understanding of account-related queries, improved accuracy in retrieving billing and invoice information, and expanded knowledge base coverage.
